Camp FAQ’S

Where do I drop off/pick up my child?
Activities campers should be dropped off at the Pool Deck not before 8:50am. Pick up for campers should be completed by 1:10pm.

What if my child arrives late to camp, is being dismissed early or is going to be absent from camp?
Attendance is taken daily and we ask parents to notify the front desk at Kingsbury Club at (781) 585-3883 if their child will be absent from camp without prior notice. Late arrivals need to be accompanied by their parent to their scheduled activities.

For early dismissals, parents and/or authorized adults on the signed authorization form will be able to pick up the camper at their scheduled activity and notify the appropriate camp Director/Counselor.

In the event of an emergency, if a person not previously authorized is to pick up a child, the parent must notify the appropriate Director by phone or written note and the adult being authorized must provide photo identification.

Who do I contact with questions/problems or any changes for my child in regard to camp?
Activities & Extended Day Camp- This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

What should my child bring to camp?
Campers need to dress appropriately for the weather conditions and have sunscreen applied. We suggest that parents label all belongings with the camper’s name. In addition, campers need to bring water bottles, additional sunscreen, bug spray, a towel, bathing suit, extra socks/shirt, hat or visor; and appropriate close toed footwear-preferably sneakers. Water coolers will be available throughout the day for campers to re-fill their water bottles. A snack and lunch will be provided for campers.

Camp participants should wear their bathing suits in the morning and bring a full change of clothes including underwear and a sweatshirt.

What if it is raining prior to the start of camp?
All campers should report to the Kingsbury Club at the regularly scheduled time. Drop off and pick up will be changed to the restaurant if there is rain or extreme heat. Check in with the front desk in case of change.
